An hour before dawn

I am here in my window

Watching the stars go out

And as the sky brightens

I notice a robin

Soaring without a doubt

Cool in the morning breeze

Watching the sunrise

I'm feeling a feeling

I never have felt before

And as the sun rises

It's exhilarating

To open my mind once more

Sailing beyond the trees

Flying across the seas

To other places

An hour after sunset

I stand in my window

Watching the stars come out

And as I stand watching

I find myself crying

Just once let my face come down

Here in the dying rays

Close of another day

And I am crying
